*The Idols We Worship* – When you think of worshiping idols, what comes to your mind? Golden calves? Giant statues? Heres a sobering look at what we often look like when we bow down to our own idols (desires).
“Leave them to eat and enjoy, and let them be preoccupied with (false) hope. They will come to know!” (The Noble Quran 15:3)
“So leave them to converse vainly and amuse themselves until they meet their Day which they are promised.” (The Noble Quran 70:42)
“Have you seen he who has taken as his god his [own] desire, and Allah has sent him astray due to knowledge and has set a seal upon his hearing and his heart and put over his vision a veil? So who will guide him after Allah ? Then will you not be reminded?”* (The Noble Quran 45:23)
